♥ Adam in Manila ♥

Okay, now let's begin my ranting...
ADAM LAMBERT in MANILA!!
I've known that this would be happening 3 months earlier. I really wanted to save money for this awesome concert but sadly there were some unfortunate circumstances which left me broke. The horror. I really wanted to see him, I had a vision of even purchasing VIP tickets (and if my wallet would permit me, VVIP tickets...backstage passes~~)

Many would be wondering why I admire him so much, (admiration is an understatement, I definitely love, love him ♥) But since watching him audition with "Bohemian Rhapsody" on American Idol Season 8, I've taken a liking on him. I was even gladder when I learned that he was in the TOP 12. The song he sang while he was on Top 12 that is left in my memory till now (and will forever be) is his rendition of "If I Can't have You". When I heard that song, I nearly fainted and loved him even more. I even loved his duet with Allison Iraheta: "Slow Ride". Sadly, he lost to Kris Allen. It was a good fight, eventhough I was disappointed.

He's the first singer I've taken liking after my other love, fellow American Idol Alumni and winner of Season 7, David Cook ♥ The sad thing is that, when David Cook came to Manila (with fellow AI Alumni, David Archuleta) I was there to cheer him on....But now, I wouldn't be watching Adam's concert TT6TT

My friends are even wondering why I love him, despite the fact that he is openly gay. I say, "So what?" He has this kick-ass vocals, charming charisma on stage (oh..I even love the color of his eyes...you could drown in them) and he is honest to himself.

10.10.10
He will have his concert at Manila.
And I can't be there.
So sad.
You're so near yet so far.

Adam, when can I see you again?

You're my ice cream, my sweetest ice cream~~

The first korean boyband (take note: boyband) that I got myself hooked into is: "Big Bang" which clearly surprised me. I was not into being a typical fan girl squealing every 5 seconds, spazzing about (what I called) nonsensical male beings trying to sing and dance at the same time but failing to do so, due to 'lip-syncing'. I was into 'western music' and OPM (Filipino Music - ballads and such), but oddly enough; I loved them. Why? They aren't those typical male beings, which I don't actually despise a lot right now, I can bear with it better than before; but they are artists who produce REAL music. Music that they enjoy and what the audience would remember for a very long time.

The first member who ventured into the solo scene is Dong Young Bae [Tae Yang], and he didn't disappoint me, mainly because I'm really into RnB most of the time, and I loved everything in his album. He made an album that is just as awesome as his 2008 'HOT' mini-album. His album has different genres that people with different backgrounds would enjoy. Clearly, he put his all into making this album work (it actually did and so much more), and with that I actually purchased it, and not just the normal edition, but the limited deluxe edition.

I was very fortunate, along with my best friend that we were one of the 30,000 VIPs (what they called Big Bang's fan club, which I'm a member of, locally though. Yeah~ yeah~ I ate my words in not joining any FCs) who now enjoy the limited deluxe edition. Imagine competing with all of the VIPs around the globe for a spot in the 30,000 limited ed. Whew~ (Thanks though, to our FC admin, Meg)

I loved Western boybands, yes that's true. I loved the music...but I don't follow every news about them. Weirdly though, that's what I've been doing this time around. Late bloomer perhaps?

Oh, and I'm Kwon Jiyong [G-Dragon] (and a little bit Kang Dae Sung [Dae Sung]) bias..but that's another story~~
(Lee Seung Hyun [Seungri] and Choi Seung Hyun [TOP] to complete the gang.. :P)

Music clearly knows no boundaries~~
