Big Bang: Blue

Ah~ my life as a fan girl. ♥

This wasn't the first time I stayed up late to wait for a release of my fave band. May it be a new song or an MV.

Tonight~ (well that was their previous single) at exactly 12:00 AM, February 22, 2012; Big Bang released their first single from their highly anticipated album, the first title track is "Blue" after almost an hour (and after Strong Heart) they released the music video.

To be honest, I was expecting a fast track and I was surprised at how the track turn up. You could feel the sincerity in the lyrics and especially the melody. The melody did have this gloomy, somber, sincere, emotional, wintery feel (which I like!). It seems like confessing your deepest secret to everyone, not afraid of what the world thinks.

The trending topic #BIGBANGBLUE even reached number 1 worldwide!

Seungri started with this gloomy melodic feel. Baby Ri did mature in this song..I love his voice here. GD, started out his rap (amazing as always), and Daesung...of course, I have always loved Dae's voice ever since and this song has all the right emotions. Taeyang's voice is amazing as always. TOP did a sing-rap theme, and it was awesome. Mixed together and you get this wonderful concoction of a song: BLUE. 

Jiyong did a wonderful job with this song, as always, mixing in everyone's personalities made it even more perfect.

The lyrics were so poetic and wonderful that I'm listening to the song over and over again. Even though the language is foreign, music really does not hold any boundaries.

Gossip Girl: Dan and Blair's weird friendship

Ah~ yea..I watched the 14th episode of Gossip Girl Season 5.

Although I'm a Chuck and Blair shipper, I couldn't deny the fact that Dan and Blair have chemistry..though I would love to see them as JUST best friends. Oh well~

Some spoilers (their conversation at the bar):

Dan: If you were looking for Serena, she's on her way back to the city. 
Blair: I was looking for you. I wanna apologize. Everything you said was right. I could never survive the last month without you. I also know you wrote those vows.
Dan: yeah, well Louis asked me to. I just tried to write down what I certain he would love about you. 
Blair: Well, you did a great job, it's pretty obvious you care more about me than Louis, as a friend of course
 Dan: Of Course 
Blair: And I care about you too. Even if I have odd ways of showing it like bossing you around and making fun of your hair. Seriously, you should cut it already. 
Dan: (laughs) 
Blair: Thank you for helping me and I really am sorry for maxing out your credit card and not reading your book
Dan: Listen you have much bigger problems to deal with. Speaking of, what now? 
Blair: I know what I have to do but I just need to know that you'll be there for me
Dan: Always 
Blair: (smiles and hugs Dan)
 

They sure have a weird friendship going on there, but you know its true.

Blair has an odd way of showing it, plus Dan is like in love with her.

Oh well~

Adam Lambert: Better Than I Know Myself

Okay~ So I'm biased. Finally~ Finally, new music from Adam Lambert ♥. I've loved him since the American Idol days.. and I was really devastated when I didn't attend the Manila concert..I'm such a failure of a fan. TT6TT

Hmm~ let's see, compared to the first single in his debut album "For Your Entertainment", which had the party vibe..the "come on world, here I am" vibe; "Better Than I Know Myself" is much more deep. It could be like the "What Do You Want From Me" song (although this song has much angst) BTIKM is about baring oneself to the person you want to be with for the rest of your life. Its like you've loved me for my good points BUT would you accept my flaws and faults? Its like, everyone has their own secrets that are kept in the dark...would you accept it once you discover it?

The video has the good and evil part (which was eye candy for me since I get to see Adam with his calm nature and the Adam with his eyeliner on...the one I originally loved) Although it did remind me of Twilight though...Jacob vs. Edward:

Well, hello there.

Gossip Girl: 100th episode

Gossip Girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite.

Ah yes~ I've been religiously watching this show ever since Serena came back to Manhattan and since Blair knew that Serena and Nate had their little adventure. It's been 5 years since then and now they are in their 100th episode *throws confetti*

This 100th episode was dedicated to Louis and Blair's wedding. Of course, since it was Gossip Girl, the wedding would be extremely elegant and big...knowing that it is Blair.

The show started with Serena (as Marilyn Monroe) singing to "Diamonds are a girl's best friend) of course Blair is there dressed up as Audrey Hepburn with Nate, Chuck and Dan dancing in the background.

 Georgina Sparks is back~ She is my favorite villain...ever.

 This should NOT happen.

 This should happen.

I am a self-confessed Blair and Chuck shipper. Ever since something happened at the back of the limousine, I wanted them to be together. Season 3 has been the happiest of my Gossip Girl life when they did finally were together. My heart broke when they did separate but I knew they would eventually be together.

There were confrontation scenes:

This is when Blair's mother, Eleanor, realized that Blair would only be happy with Chuck.

Chuck: Mrs. Waldorf what are you---
Eleanor: What am I doing here? I've been asking myself the same question the whole ride over. Can I have something to drink?
Chuck: of course, Sparkling or still?....
Eleanor: Scotch (gets Chuck's drink and finishes it) It's my daughter's wedding day, everything should be perfect.Well, everything is but it doesn't mean its right.When I married Harold,I was so nervous I knew something was wrong but I didn't know what. Not when I married Cyrus, it was very calm.It was like everything was falling into place.(Looks at Chuck) I don't want my daughter to wait for a second chance to be happy, she should be happy the first time around.
Chuck: What are you saying?
Eleanor: All along I had this feeling that I've forgotten something and I realized what it was, YOU. (turns to leave and looks back at Chuck) So, are you going to stop this thing or what?
Chuck: (speechless)

 




This confrontation is when Eleanor escorted Chuck to talk sense into Blair.
Eleanor: Out, out, everybody out.
Blair: Mother, where have you been? Harold's been looking for you.
Eleanor: Don't be angry at me
Blair: Angry with you? (Chuck comes in to Blair's surprise)
Eleanor: I'll just leave the two of you alone.

Blair: What are you doing here?
Chuck: Trust me, the last thing I wanted to do is to show up today but your own mother seems to think we need to talk.
Blair: Well, what I need is for you to--
Chuck: Don't marry him.
Blair: Chuck--
Chuck: Don't marry him.
Blair: All these people out there waiting for me...
Chuck: Yes, they are; but they also want you to be happy and you're not going to be if you're going through with this.Tell me I'm wrong and I'll leave.
Blair: (speechless)
Chuck: You can't.Cause it should be us up there and you know it.
Blair: It isn't that simple.
Chuck: It's only that simple, you told me you love me..I know it was true.
Blair: It is! Of course I love you, Chuck.I've always loved you..I love you more and more everyday if it is even possible to love someone that much.
Chuck: Then get out of here with me right now.We can go anywhere just as long as we're together.
Blair: I know you can't understand and I don't expect you to.. but even if I weren't with Louis, I couldn't be with you..just know that not leaving with you is the hardest thing I have ever done. And at least I have someone who loves me by my side.You should find someone who loves you too.
Chuck: I have,she's standing right in front of me.
Blair: I know it sounds crazy but I really am doing this for you.
Serena: (walks in) Hey B,the photographer's ready.
Blair: (choking back tears) It's okay S,Chuck was just coming to give me his blessing, right?
Chuck: (speechless)

This confrontation scene happened when Chuck found out from Serena about Blair's promise on marrying Louis in exchange for Chuck's life (when Gossip Girl had a blast in the middle of the wedding ceremony)

Blair: I can't believe you did this.
Chuck: Because I didn't do it.
Blair: You really expect me to buy that?
Chuck: It doesn't matter anymore, Gossip Girl just showed everyone the truth.It's all out, the only part she didn't tell is this crazy idea that if you and I got together, something terrible would happen to me.
Blair: (speechless)
Chuck: That's right. Serena told me about the pact. She, like me, cares about you and your future.
Blair: It's not my future I'm worried about...
Chuck: Blair, you can't honestly believe---
Blair: What? Can't honestly believe that you were dead? Because you were, and you weren't coming back. The only thing I could do in that moment, was to find a way to try and save your life; whatever it took, even though I knew, that once I did you will never stop in trying to ruin mine.
Chuck: (speechless)
Blair: So the truth is out,and it doesn't mean I'm going anywhere with you.

Aww~ Chuck, I feel for you... :"(

The ending? 

• Blair did say "I do" (Mrs. Grimaldi)
• Chuck is heartbroken
• Blair will have a disaster of a marriage since Louis said that theirs is now for show.
• Blair realized that she did a horrible mistake and called Dan, she ditched her reception (and her marriage)?
• Chuck and Serena are looking for Blair and Dan

Yes, I'm a Blair and Chuck shipper but undeniably there is chemistry between Dan and Blair. My prediction? Chuck and Blair WILL still happen I think Dan and Blair will happen in between the long awaited CHAIR reunion. Oh well~ I would be happy if Dan would be a permanent thing in Blair's life as her soul mate, a platonic guy best friend.

Another shocker? Georgina Sparks is Gossip Girl.
